NASA's Watts on the Moon Challenge- Webinar Series
When it comes to energy technologies, applications for Earth and the Moon have more similarities than you might imagine. NASA Centennial Challenges Program and HeroX are hosting this one-hour webinar to discuss advancements in microgrids and related technologies that could have synergies with NASA's Watts on the Moon Challenge (www.herox.com/WattsOnTheMoon). Panelists will include:

o Kurt Sacksteder, NASA Glenn Research Center
o Kumaraguru Prabakar, National Renewable Energy Laboratory
o Jack Flicker, Sandia National Laboratories
o Charles Brisbois, Colonel US Air Force

During the webinar, NASA and HeroX will also take questions about NASA's Watts on the Moon Challenge, an up to $5 million, 36-month competition to incentivize flexible, robust energy distribution, management, and storage solutions to power future Moon missions.
